2012 Virgin London and Brighton Marathon Places
Fancy taking part in an exciting fundraising event? Each year we offer supporters the chance to take part in special events to raise money for services for people with sight impairments.
This year we're offering the opportunity to be a part of:
- The 2012 Virgin London Marathon and the 2012 Brighton Marathon
- Dragon Boat Racing
- The chance to do a tandem skydive for KAB!
The 2012 Brighton Marathon and the 2012 Virgin London Marathon
Kent Association for the Blind will have places in two of the premier marathons in the UK. We don't charge an entry fee, but ask that competitors commit to raising above a set sponsorship threshold.

Dragon Boat Racing 2012
Can you paddle a canoe and don't mind getting wet? Would you like to raise money to fund services for sight impaired people?
We're recruiting teams of 17-20 people (aged 16+) to take part in races, paddling for fun to raise £2,000 (less than £120 each) for KAB. No experience necessary! The events are well-organised, and a fun day out for all the family.

Jump from 10,000 feet for KAB
"The best thing I've ever done – when can I do another?"
Always wanted to do a tandem parachute jump? Do it in style and safety (harnessed to an experienced parachutist) for KAB at Headcorn Aerodrome! Each jump costs us around £250 so we do ask you to pledge to raise at least double that (£500).
