KAB's Sight Centres in Maidstone, Bromley and Canterbury each have Resource Rooms that stock a wide range of equipment, and our trained staff are on hand to show you what's available and to demonstrate how to use it. They can advise you on the best equipment to meet your needs and give you information on how to obtain it.

Before you buy a piece of equipment

  • Check with your local KAB office first for advice on the best equipment to meet your individual needs.
  • You may be eligible for free equipment if you meet national eligibility criteria. KAB can carry out an assessment of your needs to see if you are eligible, and if you are we can provide some equipment free on long-term loan on behalf of your local authority.
  • Seek advice and training from KAB so you can learn the best way to use the equipment safely and get the most benefit from it.
  • If you would like to view a specific piece of equipment in our Resource Rooms, please telephone first to check we have it in stock.
