Help for sight impaired people seeking employment

KAB rehabilitation workers can help you gain the skills needed to travel to and from work safely and to move independently around the workplace. We can help you communicate effectively using the latest technologies and provide support with in-work assistance like Access To Work.

People with a disability living in Kent can get support from KCC's Kent Supported Employment team, to find out more visit their website. KAB also works closely with other agencies such as Action for Blind People who have a team dedicated to supporting sight impaired people to gain and maintain employment. Click here for more information on the services provided by RNIB and for further details of the individual support offered by KAB contact your local KAB rehabilitation team.
