KAB is lucky to have so many generous supporters in the community raising vital funds for our work. Although we can't acknowledge all of our donations here, we are hugely grateful to all the individuals and groups who support KAB. This page is a celebration of some of their achievements.

Everyone who supported us in 2018 by collecting stamps - it raised over £1200

Sevenoaks Lions, Whitstable and Herne Bay Lions and Maidstone Lions who generously funded essential equipment for our Talking News service

Taylor Wimpey for donating £250 after the community vote at Leybourne Chase in West Malling

Customers at Asda Gravesend for donating £500 through the store's Green Token scheme

Everyone who took part in our village fete games at Fremlin Walk; you raised an amazing £324.50

Riverside Tea Room in Eynsford for taking part in our Cup of Tea for KAB event and donating £25

Everyone who came to see us at the Kent County Show at Detling Showground - we had a great time!

Everyone who took part in our Birthday Raffle; you raised over £600

Karen Settle for running the Brighton marathon in April and raising over £380

All our marathon runners who trained and fundraised so hard; together they raised over £16,000

Kent Police Property Fund who donated £350 to KAB

Everyone who made a donation at the Charing Point-to-Point races. You raised over £430!

Gillingham Rotary Club for their generous donation to KAB which comprised money raised from their Christmas Floats. Over 50 miles was covered and 130 streets visited during December!

Maurice Williams and everyone from The Upper Conservative Club, Gillingham, for raising £427 from the sponsored beard growing!  

Barming School Choir and St Michael's Junior School Choir for supporting us at our carol singing event at The Mall Maidstone; we raised £678!

Everyone who took part in the Kent Charities Group Christmas Raffle; you raised £600 

Forest of Blean Rotary Club who are generously funding a winter lunch and a spring afternoon tea for some of our East Kent service users

Alan Thorpe who was the first person to sign up to our very first Virtual Cycle Ride - he raised £200

Bearsted Golf Club and all who came to support us at our annual charity golf day - over £4000 was raised making this our most successful golf day to date!

Bretts Trophy Centre in Gillingham for supplying us with our trophies and medals 

Mike Ridger, Mike Duffin, Elizabeth Duffin, Dave Perman and Richard Harris from Paddock Wood Athletics Club for running such a great sports day for some of our visually impaired children

Girl Guiding Kent East for taking part in the KAB Sight Loss Challenge and raising £908 

Colin Reynolds who cycled 100 miles through London and Surrey and raised over £1000

Staff at Givaudan for riding 500miles in 6 days and raising over £10,000

Members of the Talk Time group at Allington Library who kindly donated £23.65 at their recent meeting

Staff and customers at Peggoty's Tea Shoppe, Tenterden, for taking part in Cup of Tea for KAB in June and raising £65.47

Everyone who bought raffle tickets at the Ocean Inn's weekly meat raffle in July - you raised £230.65
