Folkestone Coastal 10K
Sunday 31st May 2026
The Folkestone Coastal 10K run will start from Folkestone seafront, head towards Hythe and then return to the seafront. You’ll be running for a great cause, whilst taking in the beautiful coastal scenery on offer. This is a flat promenade route, traffic free and a great race for those who are relatively new to running. It’s also great for those more experienced runners looking for a personal best.
The event takes place on Sunday 31st May 2026 and will start at 10am prompt. There will be a children’s race for under 15s which is held shortly before the main race at 9:30am prompt (approximately 600 meters).
Location: the Coastal park near the Leas Lift on the promenade CT20 1PR – no car parking is available on race day.
The Folkestone Coastal 10K route
The race will start at the eastern entrance of the coastal park on the promenade. This is near to the bottom of the Leas Cliff Lift. CT20 1PR. Plenty of signs will direct you to this area and do park within the harbour or Leas Cliff Hall and walk up to the start, which will be at 10:00 prompt – don’t be late!
There is a wide range of prizes and we encourage corporate teams to enter. It’s a great opportunity to engage with employees and get them involved not only in fitness but to raise some money for KAB too!
