In memory of someone special
Many families now ask for friends and family to support a favourite charity instead of making a floral gift at a funeral. Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a meaningful and lasting tribute and one that can change the lives of others.
We can give you some gift envelopes, which includes a Gift Aid declaration form, to make their gift go further. Contact our fundraising team on 01622 691357. If you prefer the funeral director to take care of everything, we’re happy to make arrangements with them directly. Alternatively, you can donate online using our secure payment portal.
Free Will writing with Squiggle
We understand that writing your Will probably feels like a mammoth undertaking. You’re worried it will be time-consuming, costly, and full of complicated legal jargon. No wonder you’ve put it off this long.
That why we’ve partnered with Will specialists Squiggle to make your will-writing process so much easier.
Leaving a gift to Kent Association for the Blind in our Will seemed the natural thing to do. When we are no longer around we wanted to ensure that those in need can still depend on the incredible support the charity offers. Having experienced sight loss first-hand we well know the devastating and debilitating effect it can have. Whatever happens in life we hope our legacy will help this great charity continue its important work for the benefit of those in need.

A gift in your Will can help deliver vital support services such as our Eye Clinic Liaison Officers (ECLOs).
It can by really upsetting when you’re told you are losing your sight. Our ECLOs work within hospital eye clinics, providing essential emotional and practical support at such a crucial time.
Our ECLOs will talk through concerns, explain more about the eye condition, give information about help available, and most importantly they listen.
