There’s a wide range of products and technology available to help people with sight impairment to live as independently and safely as possible; these vary from simple talking watches to magnifiers that can read your mail to you. Whatever your needs are, our experienced team are here to help you make an informed decision about what will suit you best.

You’re also welcome to visit us at one of our resource rooms in Maidstone, Canterbury or Bromley, which stock an extensive range of equipment for you to sample. We’ll be able to show you what’s available, demonstrate how to use it and give you information on how to order it. Please give us a call to let us know when you would like to pop in so we can make sure there is someone here to help you when you arrive.

Before you buy a piece of equipment

• Check with us for advice on the best equipment to meet your individual needs.
• We can assess you to see if you’re eligible for free equipment, and if you are we can give you some equipment free on long-term loan on behalf of your local authority.
• Ask us for advice and training so you can learn the best way to use your equipment safely and get the most benefit from it.
• If you would like to view a specific piece of equipment in our resource rooms, please call first to check we have it in stock.
