Room hire
Our Maidstone Sight Centre has a selection of rooms available for hire. Room hire is competitively priced and the rooms are suitable for a variety of uses. You can use our rooms for meetings, presentations, events, 1-2-1 meetings or counselling sessions.
Our rooms are fully accessible for people with disabilities. There is wheelchair access at the rear of the building, and you can take the lift to the ground floor. We can also offer self-catering facilities. We are delighted to offer discounted prices for charities, community organisations and Local Authority partners.

The Community Room
A large, well lit space situated on the ground floor. The hall is ideal for large meetings and small conferences. Dimensions: 40’ x 22’ Maximum seating: 60 people.
Self-catering facilities and presentation equipment are available on request, including flip charts, a projector, laptop and screen.
The hall also has a loop system for people with a hearing impairment.
The Lounge
A medium-sized, comfortable room situated on the lower ground floor. The room is suitable for meetings and presentations. Dimensions: 20’ x 13’ Maximum seating: 10 people. Presentation equipment is available on request.
The Training Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen situated on the lower ground floor. Suitable for practical training sessions or informal meetings. Dimensions: 23’ x 14’ Maximum seating: 16 people.
Room hire prices
- Community Room (max 60 people): £25 per hour
- The Lounge (max 10 people): £15 per hour
- Training kitchen (max 16 people): £15 per hour
