Royal Parks Half

This is the most spectacular half marathon that central London has to offer – it is a unique and inspiring event.
Charity runners will glide through four of London’s stunning Royal Parks, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, St James’s Park and The Green Park. The 13.1m extraordinary route brushes past London’s most famous landmarks, including The Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace, all on closed roads.
Plus, the event village in Hyde Park hosts a fantastic food and fitness festival, ensuring a brilliant day out for runners and supporters alike.
The Royal Parks Half is a beautiful event with charity at its heart and has raised nearly £60 million for over 1000 charity partners since 2008.
Minimum Age: You must be at least 17 years old on Sunday 11 October 2026 (race day) to take part.
Where: Start at South Carriage Drive, in Hyde Park.

About the Royal Parks Half Marathon
Runners will :
- start along South Carriage Drive in Hyde Park, which also the location of our event village including bag drop,
- run past Horse Guards Parade with views of the London Eye,
- experience running along The Mall twice,
- pass not one but two royal palaces with Kensington Palace now joining Buckingham Palace on the route,
- cross the finish line in front of two iconic London landmarks – The Albert Memorial and the Royal Albert Hall.
The rest of the route remains as stunning as ever, running through the heart of London’s city streets before making your way back to the beautiful Royal Parks, including Serpentine Road, the loudest and thrilling cheer mile you’ll ever hear.
