Royal Parks Half
Sunday 11 October 2026
This is the most spectacular half marathon that central London has to offer – it is a unique and inspiring event.
Charity runners will glide through four of London’s stunning Royal Parks, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, St James’s Park and The Green Park. The 13.1m extraordinary route brushes past London’s most famous landmarks, including The Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace, all on closed roads.
Plus, the event village in Hyde Park hosts a fantastic food and fitness festival, ensuring a brilliant day out for runners and supporters alike.
The Royal Parks Half is a beautiful event with charity at its heart and has raised nearly £60 million for over 1000 charity partners since 2008.
Minimum Age: You must be at least 17 years old on Sunday 11 October 2026 (race day) to take part.
Where: Start at South Carriage Drive, in Hyde Park.

About the Royal Parks Half Marathon
Runners will :
- start along South Carriage Drive in Hyde Park, which also the location of our event village including bag drop,
- run past Horse Guards Parade with views of the London Eye,
- experience running along The Mall twice,
- pass not one but two royal palaces with Kensington Palace now joining Buckingham Palace on the route,
- cross the finish line in front of two iconic London landmarks – The Albert Memorial and the Royal Albert Hall.
The rest of the route remains as stunning as ever, running through the heart of London’s city streets before making your way back to the beautiful Royal Parks, including Serpentine Road, the loudest and thrilling cheer mile you’ll ever hear.

Hampton Court Palace 10K

Run yourself into the history books with the return of The Hampton Court Palace 10K! Starting and finishing inside the palace grounds – this iconic course takes you out along The Barge Walk and back through Home Park.
A regal medal awaits you at the finish as well as a photo opportunity with Henry VIII.

The course:
Starting in front of the Palace itself – the race heads out along Barge Walk and right across Kingston Bridge, before joining the footpaths of Thames Ditton. After a second time along Barge Walk, you turn left and run the final 4 km through Home Park. Finish with an exciting sprint finish back inside the Palace grounds.

Brighton Marathon

The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK’s favourite 26.2-milers. With a stunning backdrop of the sea in one of the country’s most vibrant cities, the race gets bigger and better every year. Renowned for its buzzing atmosphere and roaring crowd support, the course winds through the city streets, finishing up on the spectacular Brighton seafront. The marathon is just one part of the Brighton Marathon Weekend, an event that also encompasses The Mini Mile Races, the BM10k and the Brighton Marathon Exhibition.

Parallel Windsor is a Festival of Inclusivity with Challenge Events for all ages, health conditions & abilities. Held in the grounds of the majestic Windsor Great Park and staged on the iconic Long Walk. Walk, push or run – there are no cut off times. ‘Start Together, Finish Whenever’ is their motto! Everybody who starts gets a medal, t-shirt and goody bag.

Take part in the Leeds Running Festival, and choose to run either the 5K or the 10K for #TeamKAB. Starting and finishing inside the beautiful Roundhay Park, the course heads out onto paths within the park for a lapped 5k or 10k route that takes in the beautiful parkland, lakes, woodland and gardens owned by Leeds City Council. Every runner will receive a unique finishers medal.
