Sight Matters Medway

Our free Sight Matters Medway Exhibition, which is ideal for any person who has a sight impairment or their family/carer, will showcase services, new technologies and equipment from organisations, charities and local authority teams. KAB staff will also be on hand to provide support, advice and guidance.

This popular event is the perfect opportunity for people with sight impairments across Medway to meet face-to-face with KAB and other organisations to find out more about how they can support their daily needs. You can join us anytime between 10am and 2.30pm.

There’s no need to book, just turn up!

Sight Matters Folkestone

Our free Sight Matters Folkestone Exhibition, which is ideal for any person who has a sight impairment or their family/carer, will showcase services, new technologies and equipment from over 30 exhibitors. KAB staff will also be on hand to provide support, advice and guidance. The venue has a cafe serving food and drinks.

This popular event is the perfect opportunity for people with sensory impairments across East Kent to meet face-to-face with KAB and other organisations to find out more about how they can support their daily needs. You can join us anytime between 11am and 3pm.

Parking:

Please park across the road at Sandgate car park, Sandgate Road, Folkestone CT20 2BY. A direct tunnel leads from the Sandgate Road car park to the theatre entrance.

Getting there by public transport:

You can get to Leas Cliff Hall from the Folkestone Bus Station in Bouverie Square to Sandgate Road. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Bus routes: 102, 104, 16, 10, and 10A.

Refreshments:

The downstairs bar, which is on the same level as the hall, will be selling teas and coffees. Alternatively, the Leas Shelter Coffee Shop by the main entrance will be open for the day.
