Meet KAB aboard Iris – various dates and venues!

To help people to get in contact with KAB, our mobile sight centre, Iris, visits venues across Kent, Medway and Bromley. Some people visit us to find out more about our work and how we can support them and some people may need additional support if their eyesight has deteriorated. Whatever the need, we’re there to provide advice and guidance.

Our vehicle is packed full of equipment and technologies, such as magnifiers, task lighting, kitchen gadgets and reading aids, that can help people stay safer and more independent.

Iris and its staff and volunteers provides help and advice to existing clients with a sight impairment, new clients and the general public. Iris also raises awareness of the importance of good eye health, including having regular eye tests.
