Supporting patients with low vision – CPD training

We run bespoke training for your practice or team, which will earn attendees three interactive CPD points.

Learning outcomes

  • Gain an understanding of how low vision can affect a person’s everyday life.
  • Explore common eye conditions.
  • Gain an understanding of the importance of accessible information and different communication methods.
  • Learn about resources and low vision aids available.
  • Consider how the environment can be optimised to support patients with a sight impairment.
  • Understand the registration process and the benefits.

By joining a training course, you will be equipped with a greater understanding of the impact of a sight impairment and gain an overview of available resources.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the support services available through KAB. You will also find out about the latest innovations in assistive technology and daily living equipment.
